Infant & Toddler Center (ITC) Admissions Process:
Admission to our Infant & Toddler Center is on a first-come, first –served basis with priority given to siblings. The Infant and Toddler Center yearly contract is based on a September to August school year. We do not interview applicants or families. Instead, we explain our policies and the Reggio Emilia philosophy carefully and allow parents to decide whether the ITC is the right fit for their family.
Applications
Applications for the Infant & Toddler Center should be submitted at the ITC, located at 70 Havemeyer Street (corner of North 5th Street). The ITC is open Monday - Friday from 8am - 6pm. There is a one-time non-refundable application fee of $60 required. Click on the link below to download an application for enrollment at the Infant & Toddler Center beginning immediately or in September. Schedule options and tuition information are listed on the application. Submitted applications are listed in order of the date they are received, because spots are offered following this order space cannot be guaranteed without a complete application on file. Families on the waiting list are called and/or emailed for open spots in the order they applied, assuming age and schedule matches. Offers increase with schedule flexibility.
Tours
Please also attend an Open House or small group tour. Open House and small group tour dates are posted on the website. Open Houses are typically scheduled September through December and small group tours will continue on through the winter and spring months. Private tours are offered to families who have been accepted but have not yet had an opportunity to view the facility. We advise that you make an appointment for a tour of our facility, and so that you can observe our program in operation. This also will give you an opportunity to talk with an administrator about our philosophy, curriculum, and school policies. Due to space constraints and as courtesy to all families attending our tours, our tours are for adults only. We ask all families to arrange alternate child care arrangements.
Acceptance Notification
Fall Enrollment: Acceptance notifications for the school year beginning in September will be sent home to new families in February. They will be due back in March.
Tuition at the ITC is paid one month in advance and then paid on a monthly basis. For enrollment beginning in September the tuition will be paid as follows:
Families are guaranteed placement from year to year provided they submit a re-registration form in late fall. These re-registration forms will provide an opportunity for families to request preferred schedules for the following school year.
ITC children transitioning to the Preschool Program
Families with children who are eligible to transition from the ITC to Williamsburg Northside's Preschool will be provided a separate open house and discussion addressing the transition and programmatic differences. ITC families are considered preferred admissions for the preschool program and are guaranteed placement provided re-registration is submitted in the late fall.

- A deposit, equivalent to one month's tuition, will be due upon acceptance. This deposit will be credited toward the last month of enrollment for the school year. Tuition is then paid one month in advance.
- The first month's (September's) tuition will be due on August 1st.
- October's tuition will be due September 1st.
- November's tuition will be due on October 1st and so on.
- The final tuition payment will be made on June 1st for July.
- The deposit will then be credited towards August.
