THE INFANT & TODDLER CENTER
Based on an increasing demand for a program that would cater to the needs of infants and toddlers in our community with an extended day schedule, Williamsburg Northside's Infant & Toddler Center (ITC) was opened in January, 2009.
The ITC currently has 4 classes open for children born in 2008 and 2009. The Infant & Toddler Center will follow the Reggio Emilia Approach and will specialize in meeting the needs of infants and toddlers in a nurturing environment. The infants and toddlers will participate in a formal music and movement classes and have full use of a newly renovated indoor and outdoor playspace.
ITC Schedule Options: The ITC is open year-round. Children are enrolled for the school year (September through June) with an optional summer enrollment. The school day for children enrolled at the ITC is 8am - 6pm. Parents can sign up for 2, 3 or 5 days a week (parents will choose their own schedules) and can pick up earlier than 6pm if they so choose.
Summer Enrollment: Acceptance notifications for the summer program will be sent out in April. Signed enrollment agreements and tuition will be due on May 1st.
Fall Enrollment: Acceptance notifications for the school year beginning in September will be sent home in May. They will be due back on June 1st.
Tuition for the ITC is paid one month in advance and paid on a monthly basis. For enrollment beginning in September the tuition will be paid as follows:
- The deposit, equivalent to one month's tuition, will be due upon acceptance. This deposit will be credited toward the last month of enrollment for the school year. Subsequent tuition is then paid one month in advance.
- The first month's (September's) tuition will be due on August 1st.
- October's tuition will be due September 1st.
- Novembers tuition will be due on October 1st and so on.
